Why Renovate the Playground?

Research shows that dedicated daily time for outdoor play promotes students’ overall health, aids in social emotional development, and increases academic focus in the classroom. With community support, we are updating our outdoor spaces to provide more opportunities to play, create, and explore.

Project Scope:

• Replace old play structures and install new playground equipment
• Address drainage issues to alleviate standing water
• Install canopies above play structures
• Install new playground safe mulch and/or grass
